Travel umbrella for everyday carry

The Lewis N. Clark travel umbrella weighs 10 ounces and folds into a compact sleeve that fits in totes, handbags, duffels, briefcases and glove compartments. Its 38-inch canopy provides ample coverage for one person in rain or wind. The automatic open-close button allows one-handed operation while carrying luggage or a coffee.

Check bag space and opening clearance

Verify that your bag or compartment can accommodate the folded sleeve dimensions before ordering. Ensure there is enough vertical clearance above you for the canopy to deploy fully without hitting low ceilings or overhangs. The automatic mechanism requires deliberate pressure to open, so test the button action to confirm it suits your grip strength.

Metal ribs, fibreglass tips and chrome shaft

The frame uses sturdy metal ribs with lightweight, flexible fibreglass tips on a 3-fold chrome-plated steel shaft for rust and corrosion resistance. A rubberised non-slip handle improves grip in high winds. The canopy survived being turned inside out 20 times in 30 mph winds during independent testing. The water-resistant fabric repels rain while the sleeve protects other items when the umbrella is stored wet.
