Dual USB-A and USB-C connectors

The Lexar JumpDrive Dual Drive D500 is a 128GB flash drive with both USB Type-A and USB Type-C connectors. It works with PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones without needing an adapter. The drive uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 for fast plug-and-play storage. Its metal housing includes a carabiner loop for easy attachment.

Check your device ports and OS support

Before ordering, verify that your devices have either a USB Type-A or Type-C port. The drive is compatible with PC, Mac, tablets and smartphones, so confirm your operating system supports USB mass storage. No driver installation is required for standard use. The connector layout lets you move files between legacy and modern hardware directly.

Sustained transfer up to 400MB/s read

Under continuous load the drive delivers maximum read speeds of 400MB/s and write speeds of 360MB/s. It operates reliably in temperatures from 32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C). The metal housing helps maintain performance during large file transfers. Speeds are significantly faster than USB 3.0 drives for ongoing workloads.

Why choose the 128GB version of the D500 over other capacities?

The 128GB capacity provides ample space for documents, high-resolution photos and extensive video libraries while delivering up to 400MB/s read and 360MB/s write speeds.

What do the 400MB/s read and 360MB/s write speeds mean when copying files to a laptop?

Large files such as a 2GB video transfer in just a few seconds, making backups and file moves noticeably faster than standard USB 3.0 drives.
