128GB USB 2.0 flash drive

The Lexar JumpDrive TwistTurn2 provides 128GB of portable storage in a capless design. Its rotating jacket protects the connector without a separate cap to lose. The drive works with both PC and Mac systems for simple file transfer.

Capless rotating jacket with keychain hole

The integrated rotating jacket shields the USB connector and removes the risk of misplacing a cap. A built-in keychain hole lets you attach the drive to a key ring, backpack or briefcase. These features keep the drive ready for daily transport.

USB 2.0 interface

The drive connects via a USB 2.0 interface, which determines its maximum transfer speed. Systems with only USB 2.0 ports will operate at that speed, while newer ports will not increase the drive's own performance ceiling. Buyers needing faster sustained throughput should consider a drive specified for a higher USB standard.

Questions about this item

Will the rotating jacket on the Lexar LJDTT2-128ABNABK wear out after repeated twisting?

The capless rotating jacket is designed to protect the USB connector without a separate cap to lose, but Lexar does not publish a cycle rating for the mechanism.

What is the first bottleneck when writing large files continuously to this 128GB drive?

The USB 2.0 interface limits sustained write speeds to the bus maximum, which will be reached well before the internal flash memory saturates.

Does the drive get hot or draw extra power during all-day file transfers?

USB 2.0 flash drives typically stay cool and draw standard bus power, so extended use does not produce noticeable heat or require additional power.
