Lexerd Magellan eXplorist GC TrueVue Anti-Glare Screen Protector

Tailored Fit for Magellan eXplorist GC

The Lexerd TrueVue screen protector is cut specifically for the Magellan eXplorist GC GPS unit. It provides a transparent layer that guards the display against scratches and everyday wear. The ultra-thin film preserves the original screen clarity and touch responsiveness. This accessory suits owners who want to keep their device looking new without adding bulk.

Simple Alignment With Included Tools

Installation uses a dry application method supported by the supplied lint-free cloth and finger cots. The cloth removes dust and oils before placement, while the cots prevent fingerprints on the adhesive side during handling. Misalignment is the most common issue; once the film contacts the screen it cannot be repositioned without trapping debris. Following the instruction manual sequence minimises bubbles and edge lift.

Protection Limited to Surface Abrasion

The film shields only against scratches, smudges and minor scuffs on the LCD surface. It does not reinforce the glass against impact, pressure cracks or deep gouges from sharp objects. Optical clarity remains high, but the anti-glare property reduces reflections rather than eliminating them in direct sunlight. Users needing drop protection should consider a rugged case instead.
