Imaging kit purpose

The Lexmark 78C0Z50 imaging kit replaces the photoconductor unit that transfers toner onto the page. It is a single black-and-color module rated for approximately 125000 pages and works with Lexmark CS, CX and MC series printers such as the CS421dn, CS521dn, CX421adn, CX522ade, CX622ade, CX625ade, CX625adhe and MC2535adwe models.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Offices running high-volume Lexmark colour lasers that need consistent image quality and long service intervals will benefit from this genuine kit. It is not for users of mono-only Lexmark printers, nor for inkjet or non-Lexmark devices, and it does not supply toner — separate Unison cartridges are still required.

Deciding specification

The key figure is the 125000-page rated yield of the imaging kit itself. If your monthly output approaches or exceeds this number, plan for more frequent replacements; if your volume is far lower, the kit will last multiple years before a change is needed.
