Cyan extra-high-yield toner cartridge

This genuine Lexmark cyan toner cartridge delivers an approximate yield of 5000 pages. It is supplied as a single pack and carries the manufacturer part number 78C1XCE. The cartridge uses Lexmark Unison toner formulation for consistent output from the first page to the last. It is designed for users who need reliable colour printing at high volumes.

Fits eight Lexmark colour printers and MFPs

Compatible models include the CX421ad, CX522ade, CX622ade, CX625ade, CX625adhe, CS421dn, CS521dn and CS622de. Buyers with mono-only Lexmark devices or printers from other brands cannot use this cartridge. Offices that require magenta, yellow or black toner must purchase those colours separately.

5000-page yield at standard coverage

The quoted yield of 5000 pages follows industry standard measurement methods for toner cartridges. Actual page count will vary with page coverage, job size and environmental conditions. Check your typical print volume against this figure to decide whether the extra-high-yield capacity matches your workload.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 78C1XCE toner cartridge in my Lexmark CX622ade, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull out the old cyan cartridge, shake the new 78C1XCE gently side-to-side, remove the orange sealing tape completely, then slide it in until it clicks; the step most people miss is forgetting to pull the full length of sealing tape before insertion.

What maintenance or replacement will the Lexmark 78C1XCE cyan toner need after the 5000 page yield is reached?

Once the 5000 page yield is reached the cartridge is empty and must be replaced with a new 78C1XCE unit; Lexmark’s free Cartridge Collection Programme lets you return the used cartridge for recycling.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume printing with the 78C1XCE on a Lexmark CS622de?

The 5000 page yield limit is reached first; after that the toner is depleted and print quality drops until the cartridge is replaced.
