Product Identity

This two-pack supplies beige linen drum shades measuring 8.7 inches at the top and bottom with a 7.9 inch height. They are intended for buyers replacing worn shades on table, floor or chandelier lamps that accept a 1.65 inch screw thread. The unfinished linen finish suits modern interiors seeking a neutral, textured look. Shoppers needing a different diameter, colour or clip-fit mounting will not find a match here.

Sustained Use

The linen material maintains its colour and structure under continuous illumination without yellowing or warping. Light is diffused evenly across the fabric surface, reducing glare during long reading or ambient-lighting sessions. The simple frame assembly remains stable after repeated handling and does not require periodic tightening. Users who need fire-rated or moisture-resistant shades for bathroom or kitchen fixtures should look elsewhere.

Thermals Noise Power

The open drum design allows heat from the bulb to escape naturally, keeping the shade surface cool to the touch during normal operation. No electrical components are present, so the product adds no noise or power draw to the circuit. The lightweight linen construction places minimal stress on lamp harps or sockets. Buyers using high-wattage incandescent bulbs should verify their fixture's own temperature limits.

Questions about this item

Does the 8.7-inch drum shade produce any noise or heat when the lamp runs all day?

The linen fabric shade itself generates no noise or heat; only the bulb inside creates warmth, so choose an LED bulb to keep temperatures low.

What fitting must my lamp already have for the 1.65-inch screw thread to attach?

The shade uses a 1.65-inch spider fitting; the included adapters let it sit on standard harp or uno sockets found on most table and floor lamps.

Will the 8.7-inch top and bottom dimensions fit the older harp-frame lamp I want to keep?

Yes, the drum measures 8.7 inches top and bottom with a 7.9-inch height, and the supplied adapters bridge common harp sizes so the shade mounts securely.
