27" QHD 240Hz IPS Gaming Monitor

The LG UltraGear 27GR83Q-B is a 27 inch QHD gaming monitor built for competitive play. Its IPS panel delivers 2560 x 1440 resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate with a 1ms GtG response time. The display covers 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and meets VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for brighter highlights.

DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 Connectivity Limits

The monitor provides one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports to drive the 240Hz signal at native resolution. Adaptive sync works with both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium protocols over these interfaces. Typical brightness reaches 400 cd/m2 with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, while the minimum figures sit at 320 cd/m2 and 700:1 respectively.

Adjustable Stand and Borderless Installation

A 3-side virtually borderless design simplifies multi-monitor alignment on the desk. The included stand offers tilt, height and pivot adjustments so the screen can be centred without extra hardware. Common issues include cable management clutter at the rear I/O and ensuring the graphics card outputs a 240Hz signal over the chosen port.

Questions about this item

Will this monitor fit a standard VESA mount if I want to remove the included stand?

The 27GR83Q-B uses a standard VESA pattern so you can attach any compatible arm or wall bracket without an adapter.

Do I need a specific cable to reach the 240 Hz refresh rate at 2560 x 1440?

Use the included DisplayPort 1.4 cable or an HDMI 2.1 cable; both support the full 240 Hz at QHD resolution.

How much desk depth does the monitor occupy with the stand at its lowest height setting?

The stand base measures roughly 27 cm deep, so allow at least that much clearance behind the screen.
