45-inch 240 Hz OLED gaming monitor

The LG UltraGear 45GX90SA-B is a 45-inch curved OLED display with a 3440 x 1440 QHD resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It runs at 240 Hz with a 0.03 ms GtG response time and supports both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible adaptive sync. The panel covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space and delivers a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio with DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Built-in webOS 24 provides smart-TV functions without a connected PC.

Check DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth

Verify that your graphics card can drive 3440 x 1440 at 240 Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1, as both ports are required for the full refresh rate. Ensure your system can output an HDR10 signal if you plan to use the DisplayHDR True Black 400 mode. The monitor draws a typical 92 W from a 100-240 VAC supply, so confirm your power circuit can accommodate it. Desk space must suit an 800R curvature and a stand offering 120 mm height, -1 to 15° tilt and -10 to 10° swivel adjustment.

Suits immersive gaming and media.

The ultrawide 21:9 OLED panel suits gamers who want deep blacks, high contrast and fast motion handling in a single immersive screen. Content creators benefit from the wide DCI-P3 coverage and factory colour accuracy. Buyers who need multiple discrete displays for productivity grids should look elsewhere, as the curved format does not tile cleanly. Users requiring higher peak brightness for brightly lit rooms may find the 275 cd/m² typical output limiting.
