Wireless Triple-Pack Fans

The Lian Li UNI Fan TL 120 Wireless Triple Pack includes three 120 mm case fans with fluid dynamic bearings and addressable RGB lighting. A 2.4 GHz wireless controller is supplied in the box to manage fan speed and lighting zones without a wired link to the motherboard. The black finish suits stealth or dark-themed builds. This kit targets builders who want simplified cabling for multiple fans.

Thermals and Power

Each fan draws power through a SATA connection to the power supply rather than the motherboard header. The wireless link removes the need for a control cable running across the chassis, reducing clutter that can restrict airflow. Fluid dynamic bearings keep operating noise low at typical speeds. No acoustic or power-draw figures are provided in the specifications.

Build and Connectors

The fans feature an infinity mirror design on the frame and support daisy-chaining so the three units connect in series. Mounting uses standard 120 mm screw holes compatible with common case fan positions. The wireless controller requires a free SATA power lead inside the case. Builders without a spare SATA connector or who prefer motherboard-controlled PWM headers cannot use this kit as intended.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2.4 GHz wireless controller and what step is often missed?

Connect the controller to a SATA power cable from the PSU before pairing the fans; skipping this leaves the wireless link inactive.

What part of the fluid dynamic bearing fans will need attention after long use?

The fluid dynamic bearings may eventually develop noise or reduced speed, at which point the affected fan should be replaced.

What limit appears first when the fans run at high speed for extended periods?

Sustained high RPM increases bearing wear and audible noise before any thermal throttle engages.
