120 mm wireless case fan with LCD

The Lian Li UNI Fan TL LCD 120 Wireless is a 120 mm case fan in white. It uses fluid dynamic bearings and addressable RGB lighting. A separate controller (part RF-T-W) is required for operation. The fan connects wirelessly at 2.4 GHz.

2.4 GHz wireless control decides compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 2.4 GHz wireless link. The controller must be purchased separately and powered through a SATA connector. Without that controller the fan cannot adjust speed, RGB zones or the LCD display.

Sustained operation depends on controller power

Under continuous load the fan speed, lighting and LCD rely on stable power delivered to the wireless controller. Cable clutter is reduced compared with wired TL fans. The fluid dynamic bearing maintains consistent airflow during extended use.

Questions about this item

What does the 120mm size mean once the fan is installed in a case?

The 120mm frame fits standard mounting points on most modern cases and radiators, so it aligns with existing screw holes without modification.

How does the 2.4 GHz wireless control connect and what does it manage?

The fan communicates with the separate controller over 2.4 GHz to adjust LCD content, RGB zones and fan speed without a direct data cable to the motherboard.

What power connection does the fan itself need to run?

Each fan draws power through a SATA connector from the power supply, so a free SATA lead is required for every unit in the chain.
