LIELONGREN LLR050A USB stereo speaker

The LIELONGREN LLR050A is a compact 2.0 multimedia speaker powered entirely by a single USB connection. It delivers 3 W of total output through dual high-excursion drivers and a passive radiator for enhanced bass. The plug-and-play design requires no separate power adapter or 3.5 mm audio cable, making it a simple audio upgrade for Windows PCs, macOS laptops and Chrome OS devices.

USB audio and power limits

The speaker draws both audio signal and 5 V power from one USB port, so cable length is fixed at 3.8 ft and there is no physical volume knob on the unit. Volume must be adjusted from the host device, and output is constrained by the USB port’s current capability. The 20 kHz frequency response covers the audible range, but the small 1.6 in drivers cannot reproduce deep sub-bass or high sound-pressure levels for large rooms.

Upgrade from built-in laptop speakers

This sound bar replaces the thin internal speakers found on most laptops and monitors, providing noticeably louder volume, wider stereo separation and stronger low-end presence. The improvement is most obvious for video calls, streaming media and casual gaming at a desk. It is not suited for users who need room-filling sound, a dedicated subwoofer, physical volume controls or wireless connectivity.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 6 W or 8 W version of this speaker?

This model is the 6 W version with dual 3 W drivers and a passive radiator.

What does the 3 W total power rating mean for everyday listening?

Two 3 W drivers plus a passive radiator give surprisingly loud volume and enhanced bass for a compact USB sound bar.

Does the USB connection carry both audio and power, and what does that limit?

A single USB cable supplies 5 V power and digital audio, so no separate 3.5 mm jack or wall adapter is needed.
