Small adhesive tracker for everyday items

The Life360 T1901A is a compact Bluetooth tracker with an adhesive back that sticks to remotes, bikes, glasses and similar objects. It pairs with a free app on iOS and Android so you can ring the tracker from your phone or make your phone ring from the tracker. A built-in SOS button sends a discreet alert to chosen contacts. The whole unit weighs six grams and measures 1.1 by 1.06 by .32 inches.

Bluetooth range and battery limits

The tracker communicates over Bluetooth with a maximum range of 250 feet or 75 metres in open conditions. Walls, interference and device orientation will reduce the practical distance. The sealed lithium-metal battery is rated for up to three years and cannot be replaced, so the device must be discarded when the cell is depleted. No charging port or user-serviceable parts are present.

Non-replaceable three-year battery

The single specification that decides suitability is the sealed battery rated for up to three years of use. Buyers who need a tracker they can keep running indefinitely by swapping cells should choose a model with a replaceable battery. This unit is intended for set-and-forget attachment to items where a multi-year lifespan without maintenance matches the expected replacement cycle.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the Sticker or the Pro for my bike?

The Sticker is 28.2 x 28 x 7.8 mm and weighs 6 g, while the Pro is 34 x 52.1 x 7.5 mm and 12 g; the Sticker's adhesive back suits flat bike frames.

What does the 250 ft range mean indoors?

The 75 m figure is a best-case outdoor line-of-sight distance; walls and furniture will reduce the practical range.

What Bluetooth standard does the T1901A use and what does it limit?

The tracker uses Bluetooth Low Energy for finding items and phones; the 100 dB speaker volume is the audible limit for locating it.
