Wire Rope Sling 8 ft
The Lift-all 38IEEX8 is a steel wire rope sling built for lifting and rigging tasks. Its 3/8 inch diameter IWRC core provides strength for vertical, choker and basket hitches. Industrial crews and maintenance teams use it for material handling where a durable, uncoated rope is required.
6 x 19 strand construction
The 6 x 19 strand classification balances flexibility with abrasion resistance for repeated bends around loads. An uncoated finish allows direct inspection of wire condition without hiding corrosion. Six-inch eyes at each end speed up connection to hooks or shackles on site.
Vertical capacity 2 800 lb
A vertical hitch rating of 2 800 lb and choker rating of 2 200 lb cover many single-leg lifts. Basket hitch capacity reaches 5 800 lb when the load is evenly distributed. Angled lifts at 30, 45 or 60 degrees are not rated, so the sling must not be used in those configurations.

Questions about this item
How often should the 6 x 19 IWRC wire rope be inspected for broken wires or corrosion before replacement?
Inspect the sling before every lift; remove it from service if you find six randomly distributed broken wires in one lay or three in one strand, plus any kinking, crushing, or severe corrosion on the 3/8 in rope.
Which hitch rating reaches its limit first when the same load is lifted continuously all day?
The choker hitch capacity of 2,200 lb is the lowest rated configuration, so it becomes the limiting factor before the vertical 2,800 lb or basket 5,800 lb ratings.
Does the uncoated steel sling generate noticeable heat or noise during prolonged overhead use?
The bare steel rope runs silently and does not produce measurable heat under normal lifting cycles; only friction at the 6 in eyes or contact with sharp edges could cause localized warming.
