Questions about this item
Should I pick the 1-inch by 10-foot version or a wider sling?
The 1-inch width and 10-foot length suit lighter loads where a narrow profile helps; wider slings increase basket capacity but add bulk.
What does the 4,800 lb vertical rating mean when I rig it on site?
It is the maximum load for a straight vertical lift; angles or choke configurations reduce the safe working load.
Does the ASME B30.9 and OSHA 1910.184 listing limit the sling to certain hitches?
The standards cover design and inspection; they do not restrict hitch types, but each hitch has its own rated capacity.
