What It Is and Who It's For

The Lighter Leash Premium Retractable Holder is a transparent accessory designed to secure a standard BIC, Clipper or Winlite lighter on a spring-loaded reel. It suits campers, barbecue enthusiasts or anyone who wants a lighter instantly reachable without digging through pockets or bags. The unisex design clips to belt loops, purse straps or backpacks for hands-free carry.

Installation and Common Issues

Attaching the unit is straightforward: squeeze the carabiner clip open and fasten it to a loop or strap, then insert the lighter into the holder until it seats firmly. The reel pulls out smoothly and retracts automatically when released. Problems usually arise if the lighter is oversized or oddly shaped, which can prevent a secure grip or hinder full retraction of the cord.

What to Check Before Ordering

Verify that your lighter matches the standard dimensions of a BIC, Clipper or Winlite model; larger torch lighters or slim novelty units may not fit the cradle. Confirm the attachment point on your gear — belt loop, bag strap or pocket edge — can accommodate a carabiner clip. The transparent finish shows the lighter's graphics, so consider whether you prefer that visible look.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the retractable reel is working correctly after attaching it?

Pull the cord until the lighter extends fully; the reel should rewind smoothly and hold the lighter snug against the clip without sagging.

What comes in the package and what must I supply?

The package includes the retractable holder with its integrated carabiner clip; you must provide a standard BIC, Clipper or Winlite lighter yourself.

Which colour option should I select?

Choose the Transparent version if you want a clear body that shows off the lighter's own design; other colour variants are listed separately.
