Each kit includes cell batteries that power the lights for up to 72 hours. The balloons inflate to a diameter between 12 and 18 inches using helium or air. Two extra balloons are supplied for a test run before the main event.

Build Integration

The balloons require a pump or helium tank for inflation because they need more pressure than mouth inflation can provide. Stretching each balloon and its neck beforehand makes tying easier and helps prevent bursting. Once inflated, the 9.8 foot LED string allows the balloons to float five to six feet above the floor. The kit suits indoor venues where a power outlet is not available.
