Dell USB-C charging dongle
This Lind dongle cable lets you charge a USB-C Dell laptop or tablet from a 7.4 x 5.0 mm or 4.5 x 3.0 mm barrel power adapter. It supports Dell or Lind Electronics AC adapters rated at 45, 65, 90, 120, 130, 150 or 240 W. The cable passes through the adapter wattage up to a maximum of 100 W. Connection is instant with no configuration required.
Thermals noise and power
The 4 inch cord adds negligible resistance and generates no audible noise during normal charging. Power draw matches the attached Dell barrel adapter exactly, passing 45 to 100 W to the device. No active cooling or fan is present in the dongle. The compact form factor stays cool to the touch under typical office workloads.
Sustained load behaviour
Under continuous maximum throughput of 100 W the dongle maintains stable power delivery without throttling. It is not suited for adapters exceeding 100 W output or for non Dell barrel connector standards. Users needing longer reach or multiple simultaneous ports will require a different solution.

Questions about this item
How do I connect the 7.4 x 5.0 mm barrel adapter to the dongle and what step do people miss?
Align the barrel plug with the Bondi socket on the dongle, push straight in until it seats, then insert the USB-C end into the Dell device; the common mistake is leaving a small gap at the barrel joint, which breaks the power path.
What part of this dongle is most likely to need replacement after heavy daily use?
The short 4-inch cord and the USB-C connector endure repeated flexing; the connector contacts or cable jacket typically wear first, so keep a spare dongle if uptime is critical.
At what power level does the dongle hit its ceiling when used with a 240 W Dell barrel adapter?
The dongle passes through the adapter's wattage up to a hard maximum of 100 Watts, so a 240 W brick will only deliver 100 W through this cable.
