Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your existing receiver supports Linear MegaCode format and single-channel operation. Confirm the operating frequency matches your system requirements. Ensure you have a clear line of sight or typical range for visor-mounted use. The transmitter requires a standard coin-cell battery not detailed in the supplied data.

Build Integration && Power Needs

The visor clip allows fixed placement on a sun visor or dashboard for convenient access. One-button operation keeps driver distraction minimal. The unique code per transmitter simplifies multi-user management without manual dip-switch programming. No wiring or external antenna is required for the transmitter itself.

Questions about this item

Does the Linear MT-1B package include a visor clip or must I buy one separately?

A visor clip is included with the transmitter, so no separate purchase is needed for mounting it to a vehicle visor.

The MT-1B is described as a 1-Channel Block Coded Visor Transmitter — does that mean I can only operate one door or gate with it?

Yes, the single-channel design sends one MegaCode signal per button press, so each transmitter controls a single access point.

With over 1,000,000 factory preprogrammed MegaCode codes, what does that mean for everyday reliability when I press the button?

Each unit ships with a unique code that the receiver learns, virtually eliminating code duplication and preventing unauthorised access from another transmitter.
