Portable Blackout Window Cover

The linen-textured sheet measures 58 inches wide by 45 inches long and provides 100 percent light blockage for bedrooms, nurseries, offices or RV windows. It adheres with hook-and-loop fasteners so no drilling is required and removes cleanly from smooth surfaces. The 0.004-inch thick plastic material stays flat after shipping and is machine washable for repeated use.

Full Darkness with Simple Sizing

One sheet covers windows up to the stated dimensions and can be trimmed with scissors to fit smaller or irregular openings such as skylights or polygonal frames. The manufacturer suggests cutting slightly larger than the glass for optimal edge sealing. Twenty pairs of fasteners are included to secure the perimeter on glass, tile or aluminium frames.

Peel-and-Stick Attachment Limits

The adhesive-backed fasteners bond only to clean, flat, non-porous surfaces; textured walls, rough wood or dusty glass will reduce holding power. Because the film is a single lightweight layer, it does not insulate against heat or sound beyond the darkness it creates. Removal leaves no residue but the sheet must be stored flat to avoid permanent creases.

Questions about this item

Will the 58"×45" sheet cover the glass beside my existing blinds without gaps?

The sheet measures 58 inches wide by 45 inches long and can be trimmed larger than the window opening so it overlaps the frame and blocks light around your current blinds.

How do I confirm the 100% blackout claim once the sheet is on the window?

In daylight the room should appear pitch black with no visible light bleed at the edges; the linen-textured multi-layer composite is designed to stop all sunlight and UV.

Does the package include the 20 hook-and-loop fastener pairs or must I buy them separately?

The kit contains one blackout sheet and 20 pairs of hook-and-loop fasteners, so no extra adhesive hardware is required for installation.
