Upscaling Limits

The converter upscales NTSC 480i, 480p and PAL 576i sources to 720p or 1080p output. Some displays default to 480i instead of 480p, which can prevent 240p or 480i games from appearing correctly over HDMI. An aspect-ratio switch lets you choose between 4:3 and 16:9 presentation.

Not for Wii Mini

This adapter requires the Wii's proprietary multi-out port and will not fit the Wii Mini, which only provides composite AV jacks. Buyers needing to connect a Wii Mini or other composite-only sources should look for a different converter.
