Cat7 S/FTP Ethernet cable 25 ft
This 25 ft Cat7 S/FTP Ethernet cable delivers 10 Gbps transfer speed with 600 MHz bandwidth. It supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T standards for datacentre and enterprise networks. The cable uses 26 AWG conductors and gold-plated RJ45 connectors with robust metal housing.
Sustained load behaviour
Each cable ships with a Versiv CableAnalyzer test report covering near end crosstalk, return loss, propagation delay, skew delay and alien crosstalk. The DSX-8000 tester applies Cat6A limits because it lacks Cat7 standards, yet both classes reach 10 Gbps. Individual twisted-pair shielding and overall foil wrap suppress EMI/RFI during continuous high-throughput traffic.
Pre-order checks
Verify your switch, router or NIC provides RJ45 ports rated for 10GBASE-T to use the full 10 Gbps capability. Confirm the 25 ft length fits your cable run without excess slack. Ensure the installation environment accepts CM, CMG and FT4 rated jackets built to ANSI/TIA-568 specifications.

Questions about this item
Does the 25 ft Cat7 cable generate any heat or draw noticeable power when running 10 Gbps all day?
The cable is passive copper with 26 AWG conductors, so it produces no heat and draws no power of its own; only the connected ports consume energy.
What must I already own to use this S/FTP patch cord?
You need two devices with standard RJ45 Ethernet ports — such as a router, switch, PC or console — that support up to 10GBASE-T.
Will this 600 MHz Cat7 cable work reliably with my older Gigabit switch and 100 Mbps printer?
Yes, it is backward compatible with 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 10BASE-T, so legacy gear runs at its rated speed without configuration.
