3-in-1 Sound Machine Alarm Clock

The Little Dog LAC-E2 combines a digital alarm clock, a sound machine with 30 soothing sounds and a night light with 12 colours. It is designed for babies, children and adults who want a single bedside device for sleep, waking and ambient lighting. The unit has a compact grey case measuring 4.33 in by 1.5 in by 2.22 in.

Plug-in Operation with Battery Backup

The clock must be connected to a power source to run, but the alarm function includes a backup battery that keeps it working for 10 to 81 days after a power loss. When unplugged the screen turns off automatically while the alarm remains active. A memory function restores the last sound and volume settings on power-up, so no manual re-selection is needed.

Sleepers Needing All-in-One Simplicity

This suits anyone who wants white, pink or brown noise, 18 nature sounds and seven lullabies plus 15 wake-up tones and two independent alarms in one unit. Buyers who need a completely battery-portable device or who require smart-home connectivity should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the alarm will sound after a power cut?

The backup battery keeps the alarm active for 10 to 81 days without mains power. The screen turns off to save energy, but the alarm still triggers at the set time.

What comes in the box and what must I provide?

The unit includes the clock, a power adapter, and a user manual. You only need a standard wall outlet; the backup battery is built in and not user-replaceable.

Which sound and light options suit a light sleeper versus a heavy sleeper?

Light sleepers can choose from 30 soothing sounds at 32 volume levels and a dim night light with 12 colours and 10 brightness steps. Heavy sleepers have 15 louder wake-up tones and the maximum volume setting.
