What it is and who it serves

The llano V12 is a laptop cooling pad built around a 5.5 inch turbofan that spins up to 2800 RPM and draws 36 W. It supports laptops from 15.6 to 19 inches and includes a three-port USB 2.0 hub, adjustable RGB lighting and a removable dust filter.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Gamers, streamers and professionals who run sustained heavy loads will benefit from the high airflow and the integrated hub that expands limited laptop ports. Buyers who need faster peripheral speeds than USB 2.0 provides, or who use laptops smaller than 15.6 inches, should consider a different solution.

The spec that decides fit

The 5.5 inch turbofan delivers a reported temperature drop of up to 44 °C in 90 seconds at a noise level of 70 dB, making this pad suitable for users who prioritise maximum cooling performance over silent operation.

Questions about this item

Does the llano V12 need its own 36 W power adapter to run the 5.5 in turbofan and three USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the pad ships with a 12 V / 3 A 36 W adapter that plugs into the DC jack; the USB-A to C cable only carries data for the hub.

Will the 16.9 in long pad block the rear exhaust vents on my 17.3 in laptop?

The cooler supports laptops up to 19 in and offers three tilt angles (3°/12°/15°) so you can shift the chassis forward or back to keep vents clear.

How can I confirm the 5.5 in fan is spinning at the 2800 RPM top speed after setup?

Turn the scroll wheel to maximum — fan noise rises to the rated 70 dB and the RGB ring stays solid at the brightest colour setting.
