BSPT Connector for ½-inch Lines
The Loc-Line 51827 is a pack of four BSPT connectors designed for plumbing and fluid-handling assemblies. Each fitting provides a male ½-inch BSPT thread on one end and a non-threaded ½-inch diameter on the other. The components suit installers who need a straight transition to a tapered pipe thread.
Pressure and Chemical Limits
Maximum working pressure is rated at 60 psi, so the fittings are intended for low-pressure drain, vent or coolant circuits rather than high-pressure hydraulic lines. The material resists a wide range of common shop fluids including acetone, alcohols, detergents, ethyl alcohol, gasoline, grease, lacquer solvents, oils and sodium hydroxide solutions.
Not for Threaded-to-Threaded Joints
One end is deliberately left non-threaded, so the connector cannot join two female-threaded ports directly. Builders who need a male-to-male or female-to-female adapter will require a different fitting type. The pack supplies four identical pieces for multi-point installations.

Questions about this item
Should I buy the single connector or the pack of four?
The product is sold as a pack of four connectors, so one order provides four pieces.
Will the 60 psi rating handle my workshop air line?
The connector is rated for a maximum pressure of 60 psi, suitable for low-pressure fluid or air systems.
Does the BSPT thread seal directly or do I need tape?
The male BSPT thread is tapered to seal in a female BSPT port; thread sealant or tape is normally used for a leak-free joint.
