Ultra-Thin Mechanical Keyboard for Mobile

The Lofree OE920 EDGE84 is an 84-key mechanical keyboard built for users who need full mechanical feel in a minimal footprint. Its 5.4 mm profile and 485 g weight allow it to slip into a laptop sleeve alongside a MacBook or ultrabook. The compact layout keeps every essential key while removing the numpad, making it ideal for hot-desking, coffee-shop sessions or any workspace where desk space is scarce.

Sustained Typing Feel and Wireless Stability

The PCB-gasket mount combined with Kailh EDGE Ultra Dwarf Shaft switches delivers a consistent, cushioned keystroke that does not stiffen during long writing or coding sessions. A 1,000 Hz polling rate in wired USB-C mode ensures input latency stays low even under continuous key streams, while full N-key rollover prevents missed commands. Bluetooth 5.0 maintains a stable link to three paired devices for hours without the drop-outs that plague lesser implementations after extended use.

84-Key Layout as the Deciding Factor

The 84-key arrangement is the single specification that determines fit: it provides arrows, function row and navigation cluster in a 318 × 154 mm chassis, but omits a dedicated number pad. Buyers who rely on numeric entry for spreadsheets or data entry will find the layout insufficient, while writers, developers and mobile creatives gain a complete mechanical tool that occupies barely more space than a tablet.

Questions about this item

Does the Kailh EDGE Ultra Dwarf Shaft run hot or draw noticeable power during all-day use?

The 5.4 mm ultra-thin chassis and low-profile switches keep heat and power draw minimal; the 2,000 mAh battery lasts up to 7 weeks with the white backlight off.

What devices or cables do I need to start using the OE920 right away?

Pair up to three devices over Bluetooth 5.0 or plug the included USB-C cable for wired mode; the keyboard works with Windows and macOS out of the box.

Will the 84-key layout and gasket-mounted PCB feel compatible with my older full-size mechanical board?

The compact 84-key arrangement omits the number pad but keeps standard key spacing, and the PCB-gasket mount gives a similar cushioned feel to many full-size boards.
