Replacement Cable for Astro Headsets

This 2.0 metre volume-control cable replaces a damaged or lost lead for Astro A10, A40 and A40 TR headsets. It carries audio through gold-plated 3.5 mm connectors and an oxygen-free copper core. The braided nylon jacket resists tangling and wear. A built-in rotary wheel adjusts headphone volume without a mute function.

Upgrade from Standard Fixed Leads

The cable swaps a non-detachable or shorter factory lead for a 6.5 ft braided alternative with inline volume control. The jump is worth it when the original cable has frayed, when a longer reach is needed, or when a volume wheel is preferred over on-ear or software controls. It does not add microphone mute or wireless capability.

Simple Plug-and-Play Installation

One end uses a 4-pole 3.5 mm plug for controllers, MixAmp, smartphones or PC splitter; the other end uses a 5-pole 3.5 mm plug for the headset. No drivers or settings are required. The only common issue is confirming the correct pole count for the specific device, as the cable has no mute switch and cannot adapt to single 3-pole jacks.
