Made for 12.9" iPad Pro 5th Gen

The Logitech Combo Touch is a detachable keyboard case built specifically for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 5th generation. It connects through the Smart Connector and draws power directly from the tablet. The case adds front and back protection while storing an Apple Pencil 2nd generation.

Replaces separate keyboard and cover

This single accessory combines a backlit keyboard with a protective folio, removing the need to carry a standalone keyboard and a separate case. The jump is worth it when you want trackpad support and adjustable viewing angles without pairing or charging a separate device. It requires iPadOS 13.4 or later.

Handles typing, sketching and reading

Four use modes cover type, view, sketch and read positions with viewing angles from 10 to 60 degrees. Auto-adjusting backlit keys work in low light. The 0.69 in profile and 780 g weight add bulk compared to a bare iPad, so buyers who want the thinnest possible profile may prefer a simpler cover.

Questions about this item

Does the 11.24 in by 8.89 in footprint match the 12.9 inch iPad Pro 5th gen models A2378, A2461, A2379, A2462?

Yes, the case is built for those exact model numbers and the 12.9 inch 5th generation iPad Pro.

How does the keyboard attach and what step do people miss?

It snaps on through the Smart Connector; the common mistake is not aligning the connector pins before pressing the case shut.

When will the backlit keys stop auto-adjusting and need a clean?

The auto-adjusting backlight works as long as iPadOS 13.4 or later is running; dust on the sensor window can make it misread ambient light, so wipe the key area periodically.
