Multi-System Wireless Headset

The Logitech 939-002242 Astro A20X is a lightweight gaming headset built for Xbox Series X and S consoles. It uses LIGHTSPEED wireless technology for a low-latency connection and features a suspension headband designed for comfort during long sessions. PLAYSYNC AUDIO lets you stay linked to two systems at once and switch between them with a single button press.

Upgrade From Wired Or Single-System Headsets

This model replaces a tethered headset or one locked to a single console, removing cable drag and the need to re-pair when changing platforms. The jump is worth it if you regularly play across an Xbox and another compatible device and want instant switching without audio interruption. Integrated MixAmp technology and an equalizer give you on-headset sound tuning that basic headsets lack.

Check Console Compatibility And Wireless Environment

Verify that your secondary platform supports the headset’s wireless protocol before ordering, as PLAYSYNC is designed for specific multi-system use. Ensure a clear line of sight to the USB transmitter for stable LIGHTSPEED performance. The suspension headband fits a range of head sizes, but try the fit if you have an unusually large or small frame.

Questions about this item

Does the headset need a USB dongle to connect to Xbox Series X or S?

Yes, the LIGHTSPEED wireless dongle plugs into a console USB port and pairs automatically with the headset.

What is the pairing step users often skip when switching between two consoles with PLAYSYNC?

After tapping the PLAYSYNC button, you must also select the headset as the active audio device in each console's settings menu.

Are the ear-cushions on this model replaceable when they wear out?

The cushions are not user-replaceable; if they degrade the entire headband assembly would need service.
