What the Bolt USB-C receiver does

The Logitech Bolt USB-C receiver adds a spare or second USB Type-C dongle for any Logi Bolt mouse or keyboard. It suits office workers who move between a laptop and a desktop and want the same peripherals on both machines without re-pairing. Buyers who need a receiver for non-Bolt Logitech gear or for Bluetooth-only devices cannot use this model.

Build and daily connectivity

The graphite-coloured dongle plugs directly into a USB Type-C port and uses Logi Bolt wireless RF to maintain a link up to 10 metres or 33 feet. It supports up to six paired Bolt devices simultaneously and works with Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. The Logi Options+ application manages multi-computer switching and Flow features for compatible mice.

The spec that decides fit

This receiver only pairs with Logi Bolt peripherals; it will not connect to older Unifying or Lightspeed devices. If your mouse or keyboard carries the Logi Bolt badge, the 956-000156 model is the correct spare or additional dongle.
