Wired USB gamepad for Windows PCs

The Logitech F310 940-000110 connects by a 1.8 metre USB cable and is recognised by Windows XP, Vista and 7 without extra drivers. It suits players who prefer a console-style layout on a desktop or laptop and want a controller that works immediately after plugging in.

Profiler software adds button remapping and profiles

The optional Profiler application lets users reassign the 10 programmable buttons and the 8-way D-pad, then save multiple configurations for different games. Without installing the software the pad still functions as a standard XInput device, so the customisation layer is entirely optional.

USB 2.0 cord limits range and prevents wireless play

The fixed 1.8 metre cable restricts how far you can sit from the host machine and removes the option of cable-free gaming. The controller also lacks vibration feedback, so titles that rely on rumble for immersion will not deliver that effect with this model.

Questions about this item

How long is the USB cable on the Logitech F310 and will it need replacing?

The 1.8 meter cord is fixed to the gamepad so it cannot be swapped separately; if the cable frays the whole controller would need replacement.

What part of the Logitech F310 940-000110 reaches its limit first during long gaming sessions?

The 4-switch D-pad and 10 programmable buttons are the moving parts that wear first under sustained use.

Does the Logitech F310 get hot or draw noticeable power when used all day?

It draws only USB bus power with no active cooling, so it stays cool and adds negligible load to the PC.
