Wired Gaming Mouse with HERO 25K Sensor

The Logitech G502 HERO is a wired gaming mouse built around the HERO 25K optical sensor that tracks up to 25600 DPI with zero smoothing, filtering or acceleration. It offers 11 programmable buttons and a dual-mode hyper-fast scroll wheel for customizable control. The right-handed design includes a metal spring tensioning system on the primary buttons for crisp click feedback and 50 million click durability. LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting provides approx. 16.8 million colour options.

Installation and Common Issues

Plug the mouse into a USB port; no separate power supply is required. Use Logitech G HUB software to program the 11 buttons, adjust DPI stages, configure the scroll wheel modes and synchronize RGB effects. The package includes five 3.6 g weights that install into the base compartment; a common mistake is forgetting to secure the weight door after changes. On-board memory stores one profile for use on systems without the software installed.

Compatibility Checklist

Verify that your PC or Mac has an available USB port for the wired connection. The mouse is designed for right-hand use only. Ensure you have permission to install Logitech G HUB if you want full customization of buttons, lighting and sensor settings. The adjustable weight system adds up to 18 g total; confirm your preferred weight range before ordering. The sensor works on most surfaces without a dedicated pad.
