What this mouse delivers

The Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED is a wireless gaming mouse built around the HERO 25K sensor with a 25600 dpi ceiling. Eleven programmable buttons, a tilt scroll wheel and LIGHTSYNC RGB give you macro control and lighting sync across two zones. LIGHTSPEED wireless reports at 1 ms, matching wired latency for competitive play.

Who it suits and who it does not

Competitive gamers who want adjustable weight, extensive button mapping and pro-grade wireless response will fit this mouse. Buyers who need more than eleven buttons, a different grip shape or a lighter chassis without added weights should look elsewhere. Left-handed users will not find a mirrored layout here.

The spec that decides fit

The HERO 25K sensor reaches 25600 dpi with zero smoothing, acceleration or filtering, and tracks at over 400 ips and 40 g. If your aim routine demands that raw ceiling and consistent reporting at 1000 Hz wireless, this sensor is the gatekeeper.
