Logitech G515 LIGHTSPEED TKL White

The Logitech G515 LIGHTSPEED TKL is a low-profile mechanical gaming keyboard with a tenkeyless layout and white PBT keycaps. It uses GL Brown tactile switches that are factory-lubed for smooth actuation and discernible feedback. Tri-mode connectivity covers LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB operation. The ultra-thin chassis measures 22 mm in height for a compact desk presence.

Tri-mode connectivity practical limits

LIGHTSPEED wireless requires the included USB receiver and a host with a USB-A port running Windows 10 or above or macOS 12 or later. Bluetooth pairing works with Windows 10 or above, macOS 12 or above, Chrome OS, Android 4.3 or later, and iOS 10 or later. Wired mode uses the detachable 1.8 m USB-A to USB-C cable for data and charging. Battery life reaches up to 36 hours of continuous use and varies with lighting and usage conditions.

Installation and common issues

Setup is straightforward: plug the USB receiver or cable, or pair via Bluetooth using the dedicated connectivity hotkeys. The KEYCONTROL software enables programming up to 15 functions per key for advanced customisation. The low-profile design and GL switches feel different from standard-height mechanical keyboards and may require adjustment. Absence of a palm rest can affect comfort during extended sessions for some users.
