XL gaming surface

The Logitech G840 XL is a large cloth mouse pad designed for gamers who want consistent tracking across a wide area. Its low-friction surface works with both optical and laser sensors. The rubber base keeps the pad in place during fast swipes.

Suited for low-sensitivity players

Players who use low DPI settings and broad arm movements will benefit from the extra room. Users with limited desk space or those who prefer a compact pad should consider a smaller option.

Consistent glide over long sessions

The surface texture maintains a steady glide even after extended use without becoming sticky or uneven. The thick rubber backing prevents curling at the edges so the pad stays flat during intense gameplay.

Questions about this item

What desk space is needed for the 840 mm wide G840 XL to sit flat?

The pad spans 840 mm across, so allow at least that much clear width on the desk plus room for your keyboard and monitor stand.

Will the low-friction surface of the G840 XL still track well with an older optical mouse I already own?

Yes, the consistent cloth texture works with both optical and laser sensors, so an older mouse will track smoothly without skipping.

How can I verify the G840 XL is lying flat and tracking evenly after I unroll it?

Move the mouse in slow circles across the entire surface; the cursor should follow without jitter or lift-off detection errors.
