USB interface and software limits

The mouse connects through a USB receiver and requires a USB port on Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.11 or later or Chrome OS. Logitech G HUB software is optional and needs internet access for installation; without it the sensor stays at its default 12000 DPI ceiling and the 25600 DPI maximum cannot be reached. Wireless operation depends on the 1 ms Lightspeed link, so a free USB port is mandatory.

Battery capacity and charging headroom

The internal LiPo battery delivers up to 140 hours with LightSync RGB active and up to 180 hours with lighting off. Adding the PowerPlay wireless charging system (sold separately) removes the need for wired top-ups during play. The mouse can also be used while plugged in via the included charging cable.
