Purpose and audience

The Logitech H390 is a USB wired headset with a noise-cancelling microphone and in-line volume and mute controls. It connects to Windows, macOS or ChromeOS devices for voice and video calls.

Fit and limits

The headset suits office workers, students and remote teams who want a simple plug-and-play solution for daily meetings. Buyers who need a detachable boom, wireless freedom or a lighter frame for all-day comfort should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The microphone uses a bi-directional pattern with a sensitivity of -42 dBV/Pa and a frequency response of 100 Hz to 16 kHz, which determines how clearly your voice is captured on calls.

Questions about this item

What USB port and cable length does the H390 need to connect?

The headset uses a standard USB-A plug and includes a 1.8 meter cable for desktop or laptop connection.

How do I set the microphone boom so the noise-cancelling works properly?

Rotate the bi-directional boom close to the corner of your mouth; the in-line mute switch lets you test placement without unplugging.

Which parts of the H390 are most likely to wear out first?

The 1.8 meter cable and in-line volume control see the most flexing, while the ear-pad foam compresses over long daily use.
