Compact TKL Layout

The Logitech K835 is a tenkeyless mechanical gaming keyboard with 84 keys, removing the numeric pad to save desk space for mouse movement. It uses red linear switches for smooth keystrokes and features an anodized aluminium housing for rigidity. The board connects via a 1.5 metre USB cable and works with Windows 10, 11 or later as well as Surface devices.

Red Linear Switches

Red switches provide a light, linear action without a tactile bump, suiting fast gaming inputs and long typing sessions where a quiet press is preferred. The 87 keycaps are curved to match fingertip shape, and 12 dual-function FN keys add media and system shortcuts without extra dedicated buttons. Adjustable tilting feet let you set the typing angle, though the fixed 36.3 mm depth limits how low the front edge can sit.

Wired USB Simplicity

A single USB-A plug delivers both power and data, so no batteries, charging or wireless drivers are needed. The compact 355 mm width fits easily beside a mouse on small desks, and the 650 gram weight keeps the board stable during intense keystrokes. Builds that require a dedicated number pad, macro column or per-key RGB lighting will need a different model.

Questions about this item

Will the USB wired connection work with my older PC that only has USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the keyboard uses a standard USB wired interface and only requires an available USB port, so it will function on USB 2.0 ports.

How can I verify the red mechanical switches are registering every keystroke correctly after I plug it in?

Open a text editor and press each of the 84 keys; the red linear switches should actuate smoothly without a tactile bump and every character should appear on screen.

Does the box include a keycap puller or switch lubricant, or do I need to buy those separately?

The package contains the wired keyboard only; a keycap puller, lubricant or any other accessories must be purchased separately.
