Logitech M196 Graphite Bluetooth Mouse

Suits small to medium hands wanting native Bluetooth

Designed for small to medium hand or palm sizes with a symmetrical shape. Not for users who need programmable buttons, adjustable DPI, rechargeable power or an ergonomic right-handed contour.

1000 dpi fixed optical sensor

The single specification that decides fit is the fixed 1000 dpi optical sensor. If your workflow requires on-the-fly sensitivity switching or higher precision tracking, this model will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Will the M196 connect via Bluetooth to an older laptop that only has USB ports?

The mouse uses Bluetooth wireless technology with a 32.81 ft range; if the laptop lacks built-in Bluetooth, a separate USB Bluetooth adapter will be required for the M196 to work.

How can I verify the 1000 dpi optical sensor is tracking correctly after pairing?

Move the M196 across a flat surface and confirm the cursor responds smoothly at the expected speed; the scroll wheel should also move content line by line without lag.

Does the box include the AA battery, or must I buy it separately?

The product specification lists 1 x AA battery as the power supply; the battery itself is not included and must be purchased separately.
