Compact USB stereo speakers for basic desktop audio

The Logitech S150 is a 2.0 speaker system that draws both power and digital audio from a single USB connection. Two full-range 2-inch drivers produce stereo sound without requiring a separate power adapter or audio jack. The 1.2 metre cable reaches most laptop or desktop ports easily.

Wired remote adds volume knob and mute button

A tethered control pod puts a rotary volume dial and a mute switch within fingertip reach, while an LED shows power status. No software installation is needed; the speakers are recognised automatically by Windows, macOS and Linux. The package includes only the speakers, the wired remote and a printed installation guide.

0.6 W total output suits quiet personal listening

Rated at 0.6 W RMS across the 90 Hz to 20 kHz range, the system is intended for voice calls, video playback and background music at close range. Buyers who need room-filling volume, deep bass or a headphone jack should consider larger powered speakers.

Questions about this item

Will the 2-inch full-range drivers need any maintenance or replacement over time?

The 2-inch full-range drivers are sealed units with no user-serviceable parts and no replaceable components listed.

What limit appears first during sustained use — the 0.6 W power output or the USB power delivery?

The USB port supplies both digital audio and power, so the 0.6 W total output is the practical ceiling under continuous playback.

How much heat or fan noise does the S150 produce when running all day from a laptop USB port?

The speakers have no fan and draw only USB bus power, so they generate minimal heat and operate silently beyond the audio output.
