The Logitech Z623 is a 2.1 speaker system rated at 200 W RMS and 400 W peak. It comprises two 35 W satellite speakers and a 130 W subwoofer, all finished in black. THX certification confirms that the system meets strict audio performance standards for studio-quality sound.

Ideal for desktop users wanting powerful wired audio

This system suits anyone connecting a PC, TV, console or music player via 3.5 mm or RCA inputs. It is not for buyers who need wireless streaming, multi-room synchronisation or a compact satellite design for limited desk space.

200 W RMS total power with 130 W subwoofer

The 130 W subwoofer handles low frequencies down to 35 Hz, while each satellite delivers 35 W RMS for mid and high frequencies. This power balance decides whether the system can fill a large room with distortion-free audio at high volumes.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything extra needed to connect the speakers?

The package includes two satellite speakers, the subwoofer, a 3.5 mm audio input cable and the speaker connector cables. No extra cables are required for a device with a 3.5 mm or RCA output.

Should I choose the 200 W RMS or the 400 W peak version of the Z623?

There is only one version; the system delivers 200 W RMS total with 35 W per satellite and 130 W from the subwoofer, while 400 W is the peak rating.

What does the 200 W RMS figure mean when the system is running in a real room?

It means the subwoofer provides 130 W RMS and each satellite 35 W RMS of continuous power, producing a frequency response of 35 Hz to 20 kHz for full-range sound.
