1.3 inch IPS LCD module for Raspberry Pi Pico with 240×240 resolution, 65K colours, SPI interface, joystick and four buttons
The LORDWORLD 1.3" LCD Display Module connects directly to a Raspberry Pi Pico header. It provides a 240×240 IPS panel with 65K RGB colours and an on-board ST7789 driver. A joystick and four user buttons are integrated for interactive projects. The board targets makers who need a compact colour display for microcontroller applications.
Communication uses a SPI bus that requires only a few IO pins on the Pico. The module plugs straight onto the standard Pico header, leaving remaining pins free for sensors or actuators. No separate power supply or level shifter is needed. Builders who need a parallel interface or a larger footprint cannot use this board.
The 65K colour depth suits graphical user interfaces, sensor dashboards and simple animations. The ST7789 controller handles drawing commands over SPI without burdening the microcontroller. Projects that demand higher resolution, video playback or a touch overlay will exceed the capabilities of this display.

The IPS panel maintains wide viewing angles and stable 65K RGB output during sustained SPI writes; no ghosting or colour shift is reported under normal frame rates.
The ST7789 driver and LED backlight produce negligible heat and zero audible noise during continuous operation at full brightness.
The module plugs directly into the Pico header, using the SPI pins plus dedicated GPIO lines for the joystick and four user buttons.
