High-power adjustable boost converter
The LORDWORLD 1200W module steps DC input from 10V to 60V up to an adjustable 12V to 80V output at up to 20A. It suits DIY builders powering high-current loads such as solar street lamps or custom battery systems from a lower-voltage source.
Protection features and thermal design
Built-in input overcurrent, short-circuit, reverse-connection and low-battery safeguards protect the circuit and source. Seven electrolytic capacitors and a 33MM iron-silicon-aluminum magnetic ring resist saturation, while an aluminum back-plate and reserved fan holes allow active cooling above 15A.
Installation notes and common issues
Screw terminals accept input and output wiring; output voltage is set via onboard potentiometer before connecting the load. Do not use a short-circuit method to calibrate current. Exceeding 15A continuous requires an external fan on the mounting holes to prevent thermal shutdown.

Questions about this item
Do the 7 electrolytic capacitors on this LORDWORLD 1200W boost converter need periodic replacement?
The module uses 7 electrolytic capacitors alongside a 33 mm iron-silicon-aluminum magnetic ring to handle high current without magnetic saturation; capacitor lifespan depends on operating temperature and load, so monitor for swelling or ESR rise over time.
What is the first limit reached when running this 20 A boost converter continuously at high output?
The 20 A input-current ceiling is the primary limit; at 12 V input the unit delivers 240 W, at 24 V it delivers 480 W, and only at 60 V input does it reach the full 1200 W rating.
How hot or noisy does this DC boost module get during all-day operation above 15 A?
Above 15 A the supplier advises adding a fan to the reserved mounting holes; the aluminium back-plate radiator handles lower loads, but sustained high current requires forced airflow to prevent overheating.
