13cm USB4 Extension Cable 40Gbps 240W 8K@60Hz

This 13 cm USB4 extension cable connects a USB4 or USB4-capable host to a USB-C monitor or peripheral. It carries up to 40 Gbps of data and supports single-display output at 8K 60 Hz, 5K 60 Hz or 4K 60 Hz when the monitor’s USB-C port implements DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The cable also delivers up to 240 W of power so attached devices can charge while in use. Its slim flat profile keeps cable routing tidy on a desk or in a bag.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The cable suits users who need to extend a USB4 connection by a short distance while keeping full 40 Gbps bandwidth, 8K 60 Hz video and high-wattage charging in one link. It is not for buyers who need a longer reach than 13 cm, who require active signal boosting for extended runs, or who want to drive multiple high-resolution displays from a single port. Builders looking for a permanent in-wall or under-floor installation should also consider a different cable type.

The specification that decides fit

The 40 Gbps USB4 data rate is the single specification that determines whether this cable matches the host and peripheral; both ends must support USB4 40 Gbps to achieve the rated throughput and 8K 60 Hz video capability.
