The LORDWORLD 2.5GBase-T PCIe Network Adapter uses the Realtek RTL8125B controller to provide wired Ethernet connectivity at 2500, 1000 and 100 Mbps. It fits PCI Express x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots and includes a low-profile bracket for compact chassis. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.

Practical Interface Limits

The adapter negotiates speeds of 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps depending on the connected switch or router. Performance is bound by the PCI Express lane width and the cabling standard used. It does not support wireless connectivity or speeds beyond 2.5 Gbps.
