Dual Extender Kit for MicroSD Cards
This kit provides two adapters that move a MicroSD card outside its native slot. One adapter connects MicroSD to MicroSD and the other converts MicroSD to full-size SD. Both are built on compact PCBA boards and are intended for development boards such as the ROCK Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi, GPS units, and industrial equipment where the card slot is inaccessible.
UHS-I II III Speed Support Across Both Adapters
The MicroSD-to-MicroSD extender and the MicroSD-to-SD adapter each carry the full UHS signal path. They operate at UHS-I high-speed mode up to 52 MB/s and full-speed mode up to 104 MB/s. Both also support UHS-II and UHS-III signalling, allowing sustained transfers up to 321 MB/s when the host and card implement those standards.
Headroom for High-Throughput Capture and Compute
With UHS-III signalling the pair can feed 4K video recording, rapid burst photography, and data-logging workloads that demand the full 321 MB/s ceiling. At UHS-I full speed the 104 MB/s ceiling still serves most single-board-computer boot and storage tasks. The kit does not add storage capacity; it only extends the existing card, so total space remains limited to the inserted MicroSD card.

Questions about this item
Will the UHS-III contacts on the TF-SD extender wear out with repeated card swaps?
The gold-plated pads are rated for thousands of insertions; normal development-board use will not wear them out.
What speed ceiling appears first when the adapter runs flat-out on a UHS-III card?
The PCB traces and contact layout limit sustained throughput to the quoted 321 MB/s maximum.
Does the TF-TF extender add measurable heat or power draw during all-day recording?
No active components are present, so the adapter adds negligible heat and no extra power draw beyond the card itself.
