A 3.2 inch 320×240 LCD with 65K colour, ILI9341 controller and XPT2046 touch chip for smoother input and programmable backlight
This LORDWORLD development board integrates a 3.2 inch LCD with a 320 × 240 resolution and 65K colour depth. The onboard ILI9341 controller drives the panel while the XPT2046 touch controller provides responsive input. It suits makers building handheld instruments, status panels or IoT interfaces that need a small colour screen with touch.
Both display and touch controllers are soldered on the board, removing the need for separate driver chips or delicate flex cables. The programmable backlight lets firmware dim or disable the illumination to save power in battery-operated devices. Standard pin headers make it straightforward to connect to common microcontroller platforms without custom adapters.
The board ships with the touch panel already calibrated to the display, so developers can start writing graphics and input code immediately. No additional configuration software or firmware blobs are required beyond the standard library support for the ILI9341 and XPT2046. This reduces bring-up time for projects that need a compact colour touchscreen.
