A 3.5 inch IPS display with 640×480 resolution and five-point capacitive touch connects directly via DSI for plug-and-play use with Raspberry Pi boards
The LORDWORLD 3.5 inch DSI IPS LCD touchscreen is a compact development board accessory built for Raspberry Pi projects. It targets makers, educators and embedded developers who need a small integrated display and touch interface for portable or space-constrained builds.
The 640×480 IPS panel maintains consistent colour accuracy and viewing angles during extended use in dashboards, robotics or kiosk-style interfaces. Capacitive 5-point touch remains responsive for continuous UI interaction without the drift sometimes seen on resistive alternatives. The direct DSI link avoids the bandwidth limits and signal degradation that can appear on GPIO-driven screens over long runs.
Plug-and-play DSI connection works immediately with Raspberry Pi OS; no driver compilation or configuration files are required. The module seats directly on the Pi’s DSI header, so clearance inside tight 3D-printed enclosures must be verified before final assembly. Touch calibration is handled by the OS, but users running minimal or custom distributions may need to enable the appropriate device-tree overlay manually.

The display connects through the Pi's DSI port and is powered directly from the board, so no extra power supply is required for continuous operation.
Any Raspberry Pi board with a standard DSI display port — including Pi 3, Pi 4 and Pi 5 — can drive the 640×480 panel without adapters.
Yes, the 5-point capacitive touch works on any Pi that supports the DSI interface and runs Raspberry Pi OS, including the Pi 3 Model B.
