Right-Angle NEMA 6-20P Plug Pack

This three-pack supplies right-angle NEMA 6-20P plugs rated for 20 A at 250 V. Each unit carries ETL certification for the USA and Canada and is built with a nylon housing rated to UL 94 V-0. The contacts are brass and the pin blades are copper for reliable conductivity.

DIY Builders and Repair Technicians

The rotatable design locks in eight positions, making cable routing easier in tight enclosures or behind equipment. The screw-lock terminals accept stranded wire from 18 AWG up to 12 AWG, covering SJT 18/16/14 sizes. Installers needing a straight-body connector or a different NEMA configuration will need another part.

12 AWG Maximum Wire Gauge

The terminal screws are the limiting factor for conductor size, accepting up to 12 AWG. Using a larger gauge will prevent a secure connection and void the certification. Verify your cord gauge before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the Nema 6-20P plug run hot or draw extra power when used continuously at 20 A 250 V?

The plug is rated for 20 A at 250 V with brass terminals and copper blades; normal operation at rated load produces only typical connector warmth.

What cord gauges must I already have to wire these three plugs?

The screw-lock terminals accept SJT 18, 16, 14 and AWG 12 power cords, so any of those gauges will work.

Will the 8-direction rotatable body clear the chassis of my older 15 A 250 V equipment?

The right-angle housing rotates to eight positions, letting you route the cord away from tight vintage enclosures.
