65W USB-C PD Charger for ThinkPad

This 65W USB-C Power Delivery charger replaces the original adapter for a wide range of Lenovo ThinkPad models including T14, T14s, T15, T16, X13, L13, L14, L15, E14, E15, E16, P14s, P15s, P16s, P52s, P53s and P51s across multiple generations. It delivers a maximum output of 20V at 3.25A and is safely compatible with 45W laptops. The unit includes a detachable power cable for immediate use.

Practical limits of USB-C Power Delivery

The charger accepts a universal 100-240V 50-60Hz input for worldwide travel. Fast charging only activates on devices equipped with Power Delivery technology; laptops without PD support will not charge at the maximum rate. The 65W ceiling means it cannot power larger workstations that require higher wattage adapters.

Replacing a lost or worn ThinkPad adapter

This unit serves as a direct replacement for a missing, damaged or ageing 65W or 45W ThinkPad USB-C charger. The jump is worth it when the original adapter fails, when a spare is needed for a second location, or when the existing cable is frayed. It is not suitable for ThinkPad models that use proprietary slim-tip or round-barrel connectors.

Questions about this item

Yes, the 65W unit delivers 20V at 3.25A and is safely compatible with 45W ThinkPad models including the T14, X13 and L13 series.

What does the 65W maximum output mean when I plug it into my laptop?

It provides up to 20V and 3.25A through USB-C Power Delivery so supported ThinkPads charge at their full rated speed.

Does the USB-C PD interface limit charging speed on any of the listed ThinkPads?

No, the charger supplies the full 65W over USB-C PD and the included power cable handles 100-240V 50-60Hz input worldwide.
